Great image - the way they started then, or are they all pushing towards the vehicle driven starting rollers .............. Do hope that Mick D # 17 and Brian B # 8 will be at the Southern Classic this year. A cordial welcome awaits you both and any others in the photo that can attend. |

Patrick, I have talked to Mick, Brian and Bernie and I am optimistic that they will be at the Southern Classic. Unfortunately I don't have contact numbers for the others. Can anyone help? Cheers, John |

Just needs someone to tell someone ... sounds like a song .... if one old rider can bring another old rider we will be very happy. I hope to put out twenty five coasters for twenty five veteran riders at the Southern Classic ........... if I have to put out more I will be in heaven. |

Patrick, I am optimistic that you will need 25 coasters. I have 19 so far who have expressed interest and I still have more to find. Will let you know how I go. Cheers, John |

Someone should give Les Ayton a ring, and try to get in contact with Barry Oliver. I believe he still has the G45 and Frank Musset's works 350 KTT which I saw him win a race on at Darley in about 1958. Best Regards, Alan Cotterell

Well people, I am happy to report that I have sent out 52 invitations and hopefully most will manage to turn up, in fact, more could turn up once the word gets around. My hope is to make this an annual event and to encourage other clubs to take up the idea so that our veterans have several opportunities to ride and socialise during the year. Cheers, John |
