It's hard to omit any of them from a Top 10 but what about:
Robbie Phillis,
Mal Campbell,
Graham Gedes,
Barry Smith,
Mick Cole
Tony Hatton
Peter Goddard
Paul Lewis
John Pace

Jeez, FB. Ray Quincey ahead of Mick Doohan, Vaughan Coburn ahead of Ron Toombs, and no mention of Jack Ahearn. Well, one day you'll look back and say, "I started that thread...".

Yeah well on second thoughts I would stick Casey Stoner in there and ditch Toombsy.

Ray did arrive in Europe with a bang, starting from pole in the race that he had his accident and we sadly never saw him win all that he undoubtedly would have. 250/350 double at Bathurst in '77 was a pretty big deal too.

As for Vaughan well.....he was one of the only blokes who ever used to beat Hansfords 250 so thats gotta be worth a mention and, apart from Doohan (different era), he beat every one of the blokes on the list above him.
