There is the posability that HMRAV may promote the Vic. Historic Champs in the future. Do you have any constructive thoughts about the idea. I have started with something below;
We could run it during the early part of the year before Historic winton say mid March. It may have been held as a one day meeting and it could slot into the ride day dates.
Or run it in conjuction with the Southern Classic in 2003 with a change to earlier in the year in 2004.

point Taken Alan, but there are issues too great to discuss publically, but which include costs. Any help to overcome all of these would be welcomed.For the moment these are some thoughts. Any ideas to improve the concept , assuming it will be at Broadford are welcome. I understand there is a gr8 tradition of camping involved with this meeting, is this true?
VIC. HISTORIC CHAMPIONSHIPS draft #1

Some ideas,
Run it as a two day meeting and it will attract interstate riders. In NSW it is the biggest meeting in the calendar for Historic Road Racers.
Include two support classes with the meeting to assist with finances and charge say $25 extra for them.
Have the support classes run with three leg events and run one leg at Midday Saturday and similar on Sunday then the other events.
Practice 9-12 Saturday.
Warm up Sunday 15 mins. for each group.
SUPPORT CLASSES
In NSW they include F1 and F2 sidecars where they get 22 machines.
Perhaps some of the trial classes for solos. BEARS ???

Nov / DEC. seems to be a busy time of the year and it has been suggestted that we consider moving it to August in 2003 and the late March in 2004 and the future. Can you give me your thoughts please?
