Does anyone remember the supplementary regs for the Harvey Wiltshire or the Australian TT? They were premier events in the 60s. Perhaps we should rejuvenate them in historic racing format?

Well, here's an idea for the Southern Classic. How about allocating garages so that we have each capacity class grouped together with signs to advise spectators what they are looking at? Also, encourage competitors to display information about their bikes. Anything that makes the event more spectator friendly can only help. |

The Harvey is still being run and was promoted and run last year by the Preston Club, if I remember Craig Coxhell won it |

How about running feature races at two meetings: Australian Historic TT for each capacity class of four stroke singles and twins.
Australian Historic GP for each capacity class of two stroke and multi four stroke ? Let's forget about periods for a while, and race the same TYPES of machine against each other? |
