Can any of you old blokes remember more than me about the match race betwwen Maurie Quincy (Manx Norton)and Reg Hunt in I think a Vincent engined open wheeler, (all tubes 4 wheels and a seat) at Darley in the early 50's. I was there but the memory is a bit dim. I would have been riding a 1939 Gold Star in a B31 frame or a pre war MOV Velocette, Living in Mt Gambier at the time
