It appears that our privacy laws are adversely affecting historic racing. THese days it is alost impossible to get information about who races what, which is needed if revised race classes are to be developed. It is almost impossible to create the situation where an email is sent to one address, monitored and then forwarded to all interested parties in a particular special interest group.
The new propsal to run post classic thunderbikes with period 3 unlimited is a case in point. It will probably fail because potential punters will never know it is about to happen. While we rely on people happening to chance upon an information web site, the word will never get around. A more targetted approach must be developed.
