Hello,

I found something rather funny and ironic today at the You must be logged in to see this link. forums today. They are finding it hard to pay for their hosting costs according to the topic over there.

I had offered them a renewal for hosting of $412.50 with unlimited traffic and they told me it was to high and I was wanting to much, so they went and hosted else where. Funny how they now are looking for someone to pay $50.00 a month (12 X $50 = $600) to advertise there to pay for the cost..

Just thought that I would share it..

Real ironic now they have removed the topic. What couldn't the PCRA of NSW allow the truth to be seen by the public?

Shame, on you for trying to hide it. I thought we where in an era of openness for all to see! Not to open now that you have removed the topic that showed that the guys who took over made what I would call a mistake.

I bet you the club fees went up as well using the website as an excuse. I havenothing against the club a a whole, just certian people who tried it on me.

Now you are asking for race meeting, website and club communication sponsorship at the You must be logged in to see this link.. Not cheap to run a website is it?

A special note for MichaelC, stop registering here with all the usernames and e-mail addresses that you think might get you in.

Surely it's about time we had peace in the camp? MA have run their forum, and stalled everyone for a while. The 'philosophy of doom'is no longer on the agenda, so we'll continue to wander aimlessly, as we have since October 1973. What are you getting wound up about David? Do you personally have some plan for the future of historic racing? Surely PCRANSW are free to make their own mistakes?

They are free to make their own mistakes, but after what they did to me, then the truth should come out. They said I was ripping them off, put it around, (it got back to me) then they now find it is expensive to run a website and the damage was done with the bull they kept saying about me.

I know one thing, this site will run for a while now and since you brought up about MA, then I would like to say, what have they done for the sport lately? Let me tell you, nothing. They have been real quite, hoping that the sport will just die off. I intend to make the sport better than what it is by providing this free service to users like you Alan.

The ammount of traffic on this site has more than doubled in the last 6 months, but bugger all people are posting, but I will still keep the site up. Even though I had a heap of support from people when the PCRA of NSW was trying to distroy this site, I want to give something back. So I might not be racing, but at least I am trying to do something.

David,

If you have a problem with someone or a club, take it offline and resolve the issues with those people. I am quite sure that most other people dont want to hear about these issues.

It is called what I would say as being two faced from the PCRA of NSW as far as I am concerned for the rubbish they put me through.

I have always been open as possible as the racing community needs to know what's going on, and by them now removing the original thread as well, it means they have something to hide.

David, As far as the accusation that you were attempting to rip someone off is concerned, noone has to pay your asking price for anything, they're quite free to go elsewhere. There is a big thing about motorcyclists, we're all tight with a dollar. The reality is that if you don't ask a substantial price for the service/product you're offering, it will be thought to be a cheap, low quality item, and you probably lose your customer anyway. Noone expects you to run web sites for the love of it, it's your product, you set the price!
Personally I'd take the 'ripping off remark' with a grain of salt. Where have these guys been during the 20th century? We don't live in communist Russia where prices are set by the state.
These days you get what you pay for. If you want quality, it'll cost you a dollar.
