Who is interested in going to either race or marshall?
I am currently over there searching for tracks and meetings to take sidecars to in Ireland and the I O Mann.
The plan being to help people who are interested to race over here to do so, either in 2007 0r 2008 etc. If you have a solo they are welcome as well.
I also got a gig as a marshall at the Isle of Mann having earlier helped at the North West 200 in Ireland.
Very nice, trackside, all the info and time to wander in the pits. Some very smick outfits, I think there are solos there also, but with about 45 sidecars theres not much time to look at anything else.
I have picked up a DVD that shows the circuit at a more reasonable speed so you dont get sick, I shall have a Isle night at home or the club rooms to view it when I get back for others to enjoy. Its a Duke title, "TT Circuit guide".
I have discussed with the Marshalls a plan to source potential marshalls at home, get them trained for both Aust. and I o M and they would be most welcome at the track in the future.
I have also held discussions with the Southern and Andreas clubs with a view to getting some machines to their meetings.
By using an experienced company we can get the machines over here, we have accommodation and some transport organised other details need clarification. We cannot get sidecars on the mountain circuit other than F2 and you must be under 50 years of age to get a start as a newbie.
Keep in touch or contact me for more information
